Mr. Jack VandenBroek, P. Eng.
President - Design Engineer
Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering - University of New Brunswick
Jack joined Giffin Engineering after completing his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick. Since joining Giffin Engineering he quickly become a key asset to our team becoming Vice-President in 2020.
Jack is responsible for managing the company’s daily operations and overseeing projects from kick-off to completion. He specializes in the design of industrial, cold-storage, and food processing facilities and has the knowledge required to tackle the complex challenges that these projects bring. Jack also has extensive experience designing steel, concrete, and wood structures for commercial and multi-unit residential projects. With previous experience in steel fabrication he is able to translate this experience into practical and constructible design solutions.
His ability to understand and interpret clients' needs and goals result in long-term partnerships with clients and industry partners.

Mathieu is an Engineer in Training at Giffin Engineering, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Mathieu joined Giffin Engineering directly from university in 2024. Since then, he has been involved in various projects.

He is also responsible for conducting field inspections, analyzing data, and preparing reports. Mathieu is highly skilled in using engineering software and tools, and is committed to ensuring that all his work meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
